What are Chamilia bead bracelets?

How does the bracelet work?

Design your style by selecting a bracelet then add beads. Pick a bracelet that you like then twist each bead onto the bracelet until you're satisfied with the look you desire. Add as many beads as you like or just a few - you choose. Secure your design with decorative locks that keeps your beads from sliding across the entire bracelet. The beads will swivel on your bracelet with movement.

What is the purpose of the locks?

The locks secure your design so that the beads only slide where you desire across the bracelet. Unlike Pandora locks, Chamilia locks can be placed ANYWHERE on the bracelet.

Are Chamilia charms compatible with other bracelets?

PANDORA
Chamilia beads will fit a Pandora bracelet & vice versa.

LOVELINKS
Chamilia beads will not fit the lovelinks bracelets but the lovelinks beads WILL fit the Chamilia bracelets.This is because the Chamilia bead hole size is approx 4.9mm - 5mm while the lovelinks bracelets are larger at approx 5.5-6mm.

TROLL
So, Chamilia beads will fit onto Troll bracelets, but Troll beads will NOT fit on Chamilia bracelets. This is because Troll bracelets do not have the screw feature of the Chamilia brand and are usually fractionally smaller in diameter at around 3.8 to 4.3mm.

OTHERS
Chamilia beads will fit the Bacio, Silverado & Biagi bracelets.

How do I choose the right size bracelet?

Measure your wrist by using a ribbon or a loose string (wrap it tightly around the broadest part of your wrist) and then measure the string with a ruler. You can also use a flexible measuring tape.

To determine your bracelet size, add approximately 2.5cm to your wrist measurement to accommodate the beads you will be adding now or later. If you prefer your bracelets to be snug we suggest only adding 1.75cm. We would recommend that if the size is in between two chain sizes to always go slightly larger to accommodate for beads later. (The bracelet will get tighter as more beads are added to it).

What are the beads made of?

Chamilia uses the finest quality of sterling silver and 14k gold. Each bead is stamped with the industry standard 92.5 or 14k ensuring each piece contains at least 92.5% silver or all 14k gold. Without a marking, the metal content is not pure.

How do the new bracelets work?

There are 2 types of bangle; solid where the ends meet together and flex where they kind of overlap. The design of both allow some flexibility to go over various size hands/wrists. There are 2 sizes; medium & large.

BC-3 measures about 18.5cm while the BC-2 is approx 17cm

This is not the complete end to end measurement of the bangle but more a meaurement of the 'opening'  Please bear in mind of course that these flex bangles can be bent in or out to suit.

Please if you take a look at the bangle on the frontpage of the site at www.chamilia-jewellery.com.au you will see the bangle has approx midway around the bangle you will see 2 other round stopper, these 'bumps' are basically locks that slide with some resistance so can be positioned anywhere on the bangle. You slide them straight off to allow beads to go on.....then slide the lock back up to wherever you like on the bangle ie they are not fixed in position.

Are the beads solid, hollow plated?

Each bead is solid through and through with no plating whatsoever! Each bead is handmade using only sterling silver and 14k gold. Just the weight of each piece ensures the quality!

Is there a guarantee on the product?

Yes. There is a 6 month guarantee with Chamilia jewellery.

What are your delivery methods?

We have Free delivery Australia-Wide. We use Australia Post for all our deliveries. On average you can expect to receive your order in 2-4 days depending on your location in Australia. New Zealand orders can take up to 2 weeks. Please note our free delivery is for loose beads & bracelets only. If you wish to receive a gift box & packaging material please see our PACKAGING link & add selected items to your cart. This covers the additional postage due to the increased size of the posted article.

How do I clean my jewellery?

The silver is treated to resist tarnishing, but sometimes it needs a quick touch-up. To do so, we recommend using either a silver polishing cloth or a jewellery cleaning tank. Dip your jewellery in a cleaning tank and the sonic waves will turn your jewellery from dull to dazzling in minutes. Do not use liquid silver polish as it removes the oxidisation off the beads and bracelets. Additionally, chemicals such as chlorine from hot tubs will change the make-up and look of the silver, so use your best judgement when wearing your jewellery.
